The power of a human touch can transform lives. Know stories about disease disappears after receiving input. Others feel at peace, centered, and calm after being held or having a body treatment.
As a hairstylist, you have a license to raise upper body. You can listen to honored. You have the gift to create, to express beauty and joy. You can have your guest feel pampered. As a hairstylist, you are a physician in disguise. Someone can’t go where energy-worker or a psychiatrist, but they’ll get their hair done, and you have the opportunity to hear, to see them in a profound way. You have the opportunity to touch them, literally, with a deep way.
There is no magic to the touch. This is a form of communication without words. It is clear and can be felt. Take both the inheritance and the receiver. Without words, it is easier to be quiet, to listen. Are you intuitive and silence can make it easier to listen to the promptings of what is needed.
For thousands of years before people have practiced on the other hand, knowing that there are points of release. There is a lot about the head and shoulders, spikes that you can concentrate on relating to release for your guests. An easy and effective hand placement is to Cup your hands (fingers and thumb together), and put a hand over each ear, palm down to the jaw. Hold steady for 30 seconds in a minute. Another hand easily, effectively positioning is to place your hands over the shoulders and press down gently. First press down on the right shoulders, then to the left, going from side to side. Most times the shoulders are tight and above the ears, in order to receive weight and feel great downward pressure there.
Head massage, scalp massage or sacred, is another service you can offer your guests. This is feeding and builds loyalty unlike anything else I’ve found. I’ve added a $ 10 just recently added to the service for an extended sacred scalp massage. This works. It can for you too.
In summary, the validity of human touch may affect you and your guests with unexpected ways. Take classes, or ask your therapist massage for some tips and then start integrating more touch to your services. Your guests will love it and will come back for more.
